My name is Mariah Miller and I am a Digital Arts major with a Graphic Design minor. My favorite part of digital arts is definitely the animation part of it. I find it really fascinating and fun, even though it is very time consuming and can definitely be a struggle. I really loved the 2D animation class that I took last fall semester, but I am really excited to learn more about 3D animation because I haven't really done that.
As you've heard before I love Disney and everything about Disney, including the animation world of Disney and Pixar. Their techniques and everything about their movies I have always loved and as I've grown to understand animation more, the more appreciation I have gained for their animation/movies.
Since I haven't got the chance to really work with 3D animation yet, I expect to learn a lot from this class. I have taken the 3D modeling class, however, I don't feel as though I learned as much as I could. I expect this class to be fun, challenging, time consuming, and exciting. I've always had an interest in animation so I'm ready to learn even more about it!
